It all began in 7th grade, when a simple idea sparked something bigger. I was introduced to cinnamon paper, a popular "candy" among kids. Inspired, I wanted to create something better—something real. That’s when I started experimenting with cinnamon-flavored toothpicks.

What started as a small side hustle quickly became my first business. But not everyone was a fan—selling toothpicks in school got me suspended for three days! That moment only fueled my passion.

Fast forward to 2008, after losing my job due to the economy, I decided to turn my childhood idea into a real business. I launched Flavasticks on eBay, selling 500 packs in just two months. From there, I expanded to my own website, Etsy, Yahoo, Amazon, and eventually Shopify and Walmart.

In 2019, Flavasticks became BiteMyWood, a brand dedicated to bold flavors, high quality, and a lifestyle you can carry with you every day.
